IMU Economics Doctorate Program (IDP) aims to provide a universal doctoral formation in the field of economics. For this purpose, students are given an education that can apply a strong infrastructure, econometric and statistical methods in their fields. During the program, students are expected to do research that will contribute to the economics literature, and to write qualified theses after the course period. Students who graduate from İDP can work as researchers in the public and private sectors as well as being academics.
İDP students can benefit from the scholarships provided within the scope of research projects by various support programs, especially TÜBİTAK, within the scope of objective criteria and opportunities. In addition, opportunities to take part in the Department of Economics research assistant positions are offered.
İDP aims to prepare its graduates for the global labor market. In addition to qualified education, our students can benefit from European Union exchange and mobility programs.
